The shop is not open yet, so there are no orders to ask about. Everything below is how it will work, published early so it can be read before anybody is committed to anything.

Read by a person, answered within one business day. If it is about an order, quote the order number and we can see everything without asking you to describe it.

Delivery

Orders ship from within Canada. Two to five business days to most addresses, longer to the territories and to remote postal codes. Every order gets a tracking number when the parcel is handed to the courier, not when the label is printed, so the first scan is real.

Beans are roasted to order. That adds a day or two before the parcel moves, and it is the reason the roast date on the bag is a recent one.

Duty and customs

There is none to pay. Stock is imported in bulk with duty settled before it is listed, and your order then travels domestically. A domestic parcel is not cleared through customs, so no courier can present a bill for duty or for brokerage. Sales tax is charged at your province's rate and shown at checkout before the card is charged.

If a courier ever does present you with a bill on a Peaberry order, do not pay it. Send us the paperwork and we will deal with it, because it means something went wrong on our end.

Returns

Unopened equipment can go back within thirty days of delivery for a full refund, and we pay the return shipping. Opened equipment can go back within thirty days if it is complete and undamaged.

Coffee is a food and cannot be resold once it has left, so beans are not returnable. If a bag is stale, faulty or not what the label says, tell us and we will replace it or refund it. We will not ask you to send it back.

Warranty

Everything carries its manufacturer's warranty, and the term is stated on each product page rather than buried in a policy. Claims go through us rather than through you: send us the fault, and we handle the maker. Buying through a Canadian retailer is part of what makes that possible, since many warranties are void on grey-market units bought abroad.

Parts

Nothing is listed unless its wear parts can be bought. Burrs, gaskets, filters and seals are stocked for everything on the shelf, and they stay stocked for as long as we sell the thing they belong to.

Peaberry is a shop operated by Antipode Technologies Inc. in Ontario, Canada. It sells coffee equipment and roasted coffee. It does not roast or manufacture either, and it makes no claim about the effect of coffee on anybody's health.
