Is it free?

The estate map is free.

Is anything I type kept?

No. Your answers are worked out on our server and discarded when the page comes back. Nothing is saved, so nothing can be recovered either.

Is this legal advice?

No. It is legal and tax information applied to what you entered: the rules, the figures they produce, and where each rule comes from. A lawyer or accountant can tell you what to do about it.

How accurate is it?

It applies the 2026 tax tables and each province's probate and intestacy rules exactly. It leaves out tax credits other than the basic personal amount, specific gifts in a will and the value of household contents, so treat the figures as a close estimate.

Which provinces?

All ten.

Is it in French?

Yes. The map, the guides and the executor's dates are all in French.
